From a challenging journey to a creative escape
I've always been crafty, but the road to starting Krafty Kristen's Creations grew out of a difficult time in my life. About six years ago, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I took care of her for five years, with the last 15 months being full-time care.
During that time, I needed something to relieve the stress, so I started doing large, complicated paint-by-numbers. I then found out I could upload a picture and get a paint-by-number of that, and I did a lot of them for gifts. After my mom passed away, a friend gave me a picky pad—a silicone rubber shape filled with beads that you pick out for anxiety. I was going through a lot, so I started making them myself and then graduated to resin. From my first resin item, I was completely in love; it has become my passion.

What I love most about creating my unique resin art pieces is the fact that the only limitation is my own imagination. Each creation is a journey, a playful exploration of colors, shapes, and textures, all coming together to form something truly special and one-of-a-kind.
